DHS is thrilled to announce that DHS Drama is funded in part by the Alabama 'Support the Arts' License Tag Fund! Decatur High School Drama received $2500 for set pieces and costumes for their upcoming production of Tarzan, April 2-4, 2027.

Decatur High School at Austin High School Football Game Information

The following information is provided to help Decatur High School fans attending Friday night’s football game at Austin High School.

Visitor Parking and Entrance Information

Maps are provided on the flyer to help visitors locate the designated visitor parking areas.

From the Austin High School Main Entrance: Enter through the main entrance and follow the posted directions and arrows to visitor parking.
From Bunny Lane: Enter from Bunny Lane and follow the designated route and arrows to visitor parking.
Important: There will be no crossover between the two entrance routes. Please make sure you enter through the correct entrance and follow the designated route to visitor parking.
Visitor parking is located near the tennis courts.
Visitor general admission is located at the top of the visitor stands.
Stadium Entry and Security
Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
An Open Gate detection system will be in use at the stadium.
A Clear Bag Policy will be enforced.
Clear bags must be transparent, with contents visible.
Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12" × 12" × 6" are permitted.
One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags or smaller are permitted.
Small, non-clear bags may not exceed 4.5" × 6.5".
Medical bags containing necessary health items and diaper bags may be permitted following proper inspection and approval by stadium security.
All other bags are prohibited when entering the stadium.
Weapons detection systems will be in operation.
Flashing Lights and Strobe Effects

Please be aware that the event will feature flashing lights and strobe effects. Individuals who may be sensitive to flashing lights or strobe effects should take appropriate precautions when attending the game.

Last night at the halftime of the Decatur -Grissom game, we were proud to recognize our very own 2026 Class 6A Track & Field 400 Meter State Champion, Kennedy Parham and our Decatur Girls Tennis Team as the Class 6A State Runner Up. Congratulations to these student athletes! ❤️🖤
