Non profit youth mentoring agency serving Champaign, DeWitt, Ford, Iroquois, Livingston, Macon, Morgan, Piatt, Sangamon, and Vermilion counties.

For some children, it’s harder than most. Single-parent homes, neighborhoods with gangs and crime, absent parents, poor role models, and poverty can lead a child to despair, lack of self-worth, and ultimately poor choices.

Tara brings a deep passion for serving youth and an impressive background in both school and community-based settings. With a Master's degree in Psychology and Life Coaching—alongside her experience running her own coaching and consulting business as a youth empowerment coach—she brings a wealth of expertise to our mission.

Tara is eager to partner with our team, local families, and community members in the Springfield area to foster meaningful, life-changing mentoring relationships that create positive growth experiences for everyone involved—youth, mentors, and their families alike.

✨NEW MATCH ALERT! ✨

Big Sister Victoria and Little Sister Kaiya were recently matched, and their shared energy is absolutely contagious! Both are full of fun, enthusiasm, and big ideas for their time together.

From diving into their creative sides with arts and crafts to going head-to-head over their favorite board games, these two already have a packed agenda. One of their very first outings? Creating vision boards together to dream big for the future!

We can't wait to see all the memories, laughter, and milestones ahead for Victoria and Kaiya as they kick off this exciting journey together.

We are excited to be partnering with 217 ALZ Backyard Wiffle Ball Classic and Bevo’s for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Volleyball Tournament happening on September 19th!
