PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Decatur County Commission will hold a public meeting on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Decatur County Courthouse at 22 West Main Street, Decaturville, TN, for the regular monthly meeting.

The Budget Committee will meet at 5:30 PM.

There will be a 15-minute Public Input session beginning at 6:00 PM, followed by the meeting. Anyone interested in speaking should contact the Decatur County Mayor’s office at 731-852-2131 or sign in 15 minutes before the meeting is called to order. (Please see guidelines at www.decaturcountytn.gov.)

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Decatur County Tennessee River Resort Act (TRRA) Committee has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, 443 Virginia Ave South, Parsons, TN 38363, to consider contributions for the 2026-2027 budget. Organizations that wish to apply must submit their applications no later than Monday, June 1, 2026. Applications may be obtained by contacting the Decatur County Mayor’s office or the Decatur County Chamber of Commerce.

FEMA disaster relief is set up at the Emergency Management office, 403 West Highland St, Decaturville, TN 38329. If you or anyone you know had damage during the ice storm that insurance didn’t cover or didn’t cover fully, come by to see if you qualify for assistance. Almost a hundred citizens from Decatur County have registered, and several have already started to receive money. The deadline to apply is fast approaching. FEMA will be here until Saturday, May 23rd; they are here from 7am to 7pm.
