Passionate about helping kids grow into confident leaders and communicators? This role plans and delivers hands-on 4-H clubs, camps, and community programs across Chickasaw County — with hours in the office and out in the community (some evenings/weekends required).

Winneshiek County 4-H Takes Top Honors at the Iowa State Fair!

What an incredible accomplishment for Whitney and Lindsey Williams, proud members of the Burr Oak Blazing Builders 4-H Club and Winneshiek County 4-H!

- Whitney Williams exhibited the Grand Champion 4-H Market Lamb
- Lindsey Williams exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion 4-H Market Lamb

Both Whitney and Lindsey will have their lambs featured in the IFAA (Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Advancement) Sale of Champions on Saturday, August 22, at 2:00 p.m. at the Iowa State Fair.

Looking to plant or improve a windbreak for your farm or acreage?
Bremer County Extenion and Fayette County 4-H and ISU Extension and Outreach are hosting a Windbreak School from 9-1 on Thursday, August 13th at the Mike Meyer Construction and Farm at 1781 Viking Rd, just north of Buck Creek. With many now nearing 40+ years old, this field day will show plans to plant or manage yours, plus cost share options available. Learn from specialists while walking through his current windbreak. No cost and light meal included.
