Thanks to this volunteer who "loves landscaping" our troubled corner is now welcoming. No pantry resources (other than human!) were used in accomplishing this beautification project. Thanks Shea and Kevin for donating time, energy, and ornaments ❤ ❤

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to the Luren Singing Society for both their beautiful concert "Together Singing One" and for their generous good will donation.

It takes a great community and Luren Singing Society embraced that as they welcomed the Luther College Norskkor, Decorah High School Bass Clef Ensembles, and the Decorah Middle School Viking voices to this Special Mother's Day Concert. THANK YOU! ❤

THANK YOU ❤ EVERYONE INVOLVED -
* Decorah Fareway for making us part of Register Round-Up then working with us on shelf stable items we can't currently get at our NE Iowa Food Bank in Waterloo
* Area shoppers for saying yes to "Round-up at the register"
* Pantry volunteers for always jumping in to unload deliveries
* Our food insecure neighbors who always show appreciation

It takes great community, and we have it! ❤

LOCAL FOODS.
Decorah Community Food Pantry is proud of our support of local farmers through our Farmers Market Coupon Program (pictured: volunteers put together packets to begin being distributed June 1).

The Farmers Market Coupon Program assists pantry clients to have access to locally grown produce at the Decorah Farmers Market.

If you would like to support food insecure families in having access to locally grown produce and breads, make a donation to Decorah Community Food Pantry and designate it for the Famers Market Coupon Program. This is a "Win-Win-Win" for our local community. ❤

Another wonderful celebration/recognition evening with the incredible volunteers who make our Community Food Pantry the great community place it is.

THANK YOU to Pulpit Rock Brewing for sharing your space and to Pizza Ranch Decorah for working with us on food.

THANK YOU to the several volunteers who helped plan and pull it off and to the great group of volunteers ("dozens of cousins" 😊) who showed up and shared community time. ❤

It takes a community, and we have a great one!
