Huge thank you shout out to everyone that showed up, sent donations or come to help the process to make it a success for our annual fireman’s breakfast. It was a busy morning. We served over 700 meals between dine-in and Togo orders. Thank you for your support.

Road Closure Notice – Bridge Replacement Project

Starting on September 2nd, 520th Avenue (from Hwy 21 to 200th Street) and 210th Street (from 510th Avenue to 520th Avenue) will be closed until Spring 2026 for a bridge replacement project.

Please plan alternate routes accordingly.

Would like to send out a huge thank you to Montezuma Fire and ambulance, Poweshiek County Emergancy Managment, Poweshiek County Dispatch, Poweshiek County Sheriff’s office, Iowa state patrol, Iowa DOT, Seaton Const, Brooklyn Fire, Malcom Fire, Victor Fire, Millersburg Fire and all the volunteers that stopped out and helped last night on a house fire. To have that many depts work together and get things done was impressive. Alot of hard work. Roughly 27,000 gallon of water used.

We would like to Thank the Lois Winegarden family, Seaton Construction and Lights Insurance for the generous donations along with community support and other donations.

With these donations we were able to purchase a pancake griddle and will be able to use it for our pancake breakfast.
