The Morgan Scott Project for Cooperative Christian Concerns provides a common, multi-denominational base for churches, agencies, and individuals to identify the problems of and provide the solutions for people in peril in Morgan & Scott Counties. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Morgan-Scott Project develops activities, provides training, offers assistance, a

nd gives support to help break the cycle of poverty and enable people to help themselves. When necessary, temporary emergency aid is provided as a means of opening doors and finding the base causes of need for those we help. The Project’s primary goal is two-fold:

Provide support that will bring positive, long range solutions

Ensure every effort is made to protect the dignity, self respect, and personal worth of the people served.

We are very thankful for the 44 Campers, 7 Junior Counselors, and 8 Counselors who made Camp and Community at the Morgan Scott Project very special last week! This has been a ministry we have been so happy to share with our community for more than 10 years!!

FREE dinner and a movie at MSP'S Office.
Well be serving pulled pork dinners and showing Toy Story - the first one. Dinner starts at 6:30 & movie starts about 8 o'clock. Everyone is invited.

A reminder that we are still taking calls to get signed up for our Good Earth Program which provides seeds, onion sets, tomato plants, cabbage plants, and fertilizer to those who are planning to have a garden.
Distribution in Morgan County will be this Friday beginning at 10am at our location in Deer Lodge (1022 Old Deer Lodge Pike).
Scott County residents will get theirs this Saturday morning at the Farmer's Market on Scott High Drive in Huntsville beginning at 10am.
