It was a great morning of story telling: joyous, hilarious, and grief stricken. Sara DeLuca shared the importance of all the stories and how to keep them alive as memories! How all the experiences shape us to become who we are through life.
Once again, we are blessed to have another program, with quality over quantity. In Deer Park, we truly thrive on getting to know our patrons and providing them with the best experiences we can offer.

Saturday, May 30th at 10:30 am

Sara DeLuca, a resident of New Richmond, Wisconsin, grew up in nearby Polk County on a sheep and dairy farm. She is the author of Dancing the Cows Home: A Wisconsin Girlhood, and The Crops Look Good: News from a Midwestern Family Farm, both published by Minnesota Historical Society Press. She has also published regional history with Wisconsin Magazine of History. Her poetry has appeared in numerous journals and chapbooks. (Wisconsin Public Radio)
