July 2026 Monthly Report

DAY SHIFTS

07/01 7800 block of Dearborn Ave. Death Report. A resident passed away, and the Hamilton County Coroner conducted an autopsy.

07/02 3900 block of Hemphill Ct. Lost Property. A resident was shopping at IGA and lost their wallet. A fine citizen located the wallet and turned it into the store office. They called us to assist. The officer was pleased to return the wallet with all its contents, including the cash.

07/02 3900 block of Webster Ave. Garbage/Debris. We received a complaint about a male throwing out his losing lottery tickets from his motor vehicle. An officer contacted the “Loser,” and he admitted to the offense. He offered to clean up the litter and was given a warning.

07/05 Deer Park Tavern. Phyisical Arrest. An officer was called for a male violating a protection order held by his wife. While the officer was attempting to take the male into custody, the male handed his friend a small pouch. When the officer asked what the contents were in the pouch, he advised that it was co***ne. The male was arrested, and to the officer’s surprise, the male started to complain of heart pain/trouble. He was transported to Jewish Hospital, then taken to the Hamilton County Jail for violating the temporary protection order and possessing narcotics.
07/14 4100 block of Lansdowne Ave. Domestic trouble. The male half changed the code to the safe, and the female wants a picture of the contents. They were advised that it is a civil issue and to contact their attorneys.

07/14 On Station. The female half from the above run came on station reporting that prior to the officer’s arrival to her residence, she was injured by the male half. A report was taken and no charges were filed.

07/14 Deer Park Library. Our officers attended a Safe Communities meeting and assisted in a discussion with those in attendance.

07/14 4200 block of Webster Ave. Fire Run. Someone with comparable cooking skills to this officer burnt popcorn in the microwave and set off an alarm.

07/27 Deer Park Carry Out. Dispatch received several calls referencing a female operating a white SUV, attempting to run over a male in the parking lot. She stated that she was trying to leave without him. He stated that made him upset. Prosecution was denied, and both were sent on their very separate ways.

07/28 4300 block of Hegner Ave. Suspicious Activity. The caller stated that they were in their bedroom, hears footsteps near the front door, and the dog was growling. The officer located an open front door swinging in the wind. Everything else checked okay.

07/28 Chamberlin Healthcare. Theft. The director reported that a suspect removed money from a patient without permission. A report was taken, and an investigation was started.

NIGHT SHIFTS

7/1 – Out of territory – Officers assisted the HCSO with a reported burglary in progress on Estermarie.

7/2 – 4100 block of Galbraith – Officers mediated a verbal domestic dispute between two parties.

7/3 – 4100 block of Superior – Officers contacted a resident regarding a barking dog complaint.

7/3 – Out of territory – Officers assisted Amberley Village with a traffic accident on Lansdowne.

7/4 – 3900 block of Hemphill – Officers responded to a fireworks complaint involving debris falling on the complainant’s home.

7/4 – 3900 block of Hemphill – Officers responded to a complaint about loud fireworks. No violations were observed, but the neighbor was informed of the complaint and voluntarily stopped for the night.

7/4 – 7600 block of Plainfield – Officers warned the occupants of two vehicles that the park was closed and directed them to leave.

7/5 – 7600 block of Plainfield – Officers responded to a loud music complaint at the community center. The renter was contacted and lowered the music for the night.

7/5 – Blue Ash at Schenck – An intoxicated driver crossed a marked parking area and drove onto the grass before becoming stuck between the railroad tracks. After an investigation, officers arrested the driver for OVI and failure to control. A tow truck removed the vehicle, and the driver was transported to the Justice Center.

7/6 – 7600 block of Plainfield – Officers contacted a subject asleep in a vehicle in the park after hours. Because the subject had no driver’s license, officers instructed him to arrange a ride. After being called away, officers returned and saw him driving from the park. They stopped him, issued a citation for driving without a license, and had the vehicle towed.

7/10 – Matson at Plainfield – Officers responded to a report of a subject running along the sidewalk and talking to himself. Officers recognized him as a subject who always runs along the sidewalk and talks to himself.

7/11 – 7300 block of Blue Ash – Officers responded to a fireworks complaint and warned a resident that fireworks were no longer permitted.

7/11 – 3900 block of Hemphill – Officers responded to another fireworks complaint and
determined the fireworks originated outside the jurisdiction.

7/11 – 4100 block of Schenck – Officers responded to an ongoing verbal dispute between a former couple. The ex-girlfriend left before officers arrived, and the boyfriend was again advised not to invite her to his mother’s home for the 100th time.

7/14 – 4200 block of Galbraith – A passerby found a young child wandering alone on the sidewalk along Galbraith Road. The investigation indicated the child had awakened, left the bed, and exited the home without the parents’ knowledge. The case remains under investigation and was referred to JFS. Officers thanked the passerby for checking on the child’s welfare.

7/17 – Out of territory – Officers assisted Amberley Village with closing portions of Section Road due to flooding.

7/18 – 7200 block of Ohio – Officers responded to reports of loud patrons outside a business. The group was advised of the noise violation and directed to return inside.

7/19 – 7600 block of Plainfield – Officers warned four juveniles for being in the park after hours and contacted their parents to pick them up.

7/19 – 4200 block of Oakwood – A subject was arrested for inducing panic and assault after falsely reporting a structure fire at an apartment building and assaulting another tenant during the evacuation.

7/25 – Out of territory – An officer assisted the HCSO in locating subjects reportedly attempting to enter unlocked vehicles in the 8500 block of Darnell.

7/25 – 4200 block of Webster – Officers stopped several juveniles, warned them for curfew violations, and directed them to return home.

7/27 – On station – Officers took a theft report after the complainant sent $400 to a cloned page that falsely advertised another artist’s tattoo work. The investigation remains pending.

7/28 – 3700 block of St. Johns – Officers responded to a tree that had fallen onto power lines on St. Johns Terrace, causing a large outage. Duke Energy was notified, and an officer remained in the area.

7/28 – 7200 block of Plainfield – Officers took a theft report and obtained video showing two subjects entering the store and stealing chips and sodas. The investigation remains pending.

7/29 – 4200 block of Redmont – Officers warned a Vivint Security solicitor for operating without a city permit, explained how to obtain one, and directed him to leave.

We were recently asked about this ordinance. At the bottom of the post are the most asked-about sections of the ordinance.

509.08 CURFEW.
(a) As used in this section:
(1) "Adult person" shall mean a person eighteen years of age or older;
(2) "Minor" shall mean any person under eighteen years of age;
(3) "Emergency" shall mean an unforeseen combination of circumstances or the resulting state that calls for immediate action. The term includes, but is not limited to, a fire, a natural disaster, or automobile accident, or any situation requiring immediate action to prevent serious bodily injury or loss of life;
(4) "Establishment" shall mean any privately-owned place of business operated for a profit to which the public is invited, including but not limited to any place of amusement or entertainment;
(5) "Guardian" shall mean:
A. Any person who, under court order, is the guardian of a minor; or
B. Any public or private agency with whom a minor has been placed into the care or control by court order.
(6) "Operator" shall mean any individual, firm, association, partnership, or corporation operating, managing, or conducting any establishment. "Operator" includes but is not limited to members or partners of an association or partnership and the officers of a corporation;
(7) "Parent" shall mean a person who is:
A. A natural parent, adoptive parent, or step-parent of a minor; or
B. At least eighteen years of age and authorized by a parent, as set forth in subsection (a)(7)(A) of this section, or guardian to have the care and custody of a minor;
(8) "Public Place" shall mean any place to which the public or a substantial group of the public has access and includes, but is not limited to, streets, highways, and the common areas of schools, hospitals, apartment houses, office buildings, transport facilities, shops, parks, or recreation facilities;
(9) "Remain" shall mean to:
A. Linger or stay; or
B. Fail to leave premises when requested to do so by a police officer or the owner, operator, or other person in control of the premises, establishment, or facility; and:
(10) "Serious Bodily Injury" shall mean bodily injury that creates a substantial risk of death or that causes death, serious permanent disfigurement, or protracted loss or impairment of the function of any bodily member or organ.
(b) No minor under the age of fifteen years shall remain in any public place or on the premises of any business establishment or facility between the consecutive hours of 10:01 p.m. in the evening until 5:00 a.m. in the morning of the following day.
(c) No minor under the age of eighteen years shall remain in any public place or on the premises of any business establishment or facility between the consecutive hours of 11:01 p.m. in the evening until 5:00 a.m. in the morning of the following day.
(d) No parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor falling within the purview of subsections (b) or (c) of this section shall knowingly permit such minor to be in violation of subsections (b) or (c), whichever is applicable.
(e) No owner, operator, or any employee of an business establishment or facility shall knowingly permit any minor falling within the purview of subsections (b) or (c) of this section to remain upon the premises of the establishment or facility during the applicable curfew hours set forth in subsections (b) or (c) of this section.
(f) The provisions of subsections (b) and (c) of this section do not apply to any of the following where:
(1) A minor is accompanied by a parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor;
(2) A minor is upon an errand or legitimate business, without any intervening detour or unnecessary stop, as directed by a parent, guardian or other adult person having care and custody of the minor;
(3) A minor is engaged in interstate travel;
(4) A minor is involved in an emergency;
(5) A minor is engaged in an employment activity, or going to or returning to the minor's home from an employment activity, without any detour or unnecessary stop;
(6) A minor is on the sidewalk abutting the minor's residence or abutting the residence of a next-door neighbor if the neighbor did not complain to the police department about the minor's presence;
(7) The minor is attending an official school, religious, or other recreational activity supervised by adults and sponsored by the City of Deer Park, a civic organization, or other entity that takes responsibility for the minor, or the minor is going to or returning to the minor's home from, without any detour or unnecessary stop, an official school, religious, or other recreational activity supervised by adults and sponsored by the City of Deer Park, a civic organization, or entity that takes responsibility for the minor;
(8) The minor is exercising First Amendment rights protected by the United States Constitution, such as the free exercise of religion, freedom of speech, and the right of assembly; or
(9) The minor is married or had been married or had disabilities of minority removed in accordance with Ohio law.
(g) The provisions of subsection (e) of this section do not apply where the owner, operator, or employee of an establishment promptly notified the police department that a minor was present on the premises of the establishment during curfew hours and refused to leave.
(h) Before taking any enforcement action under this section, a police officer shall ask the apparent offender's age and reason for being in the public place or establishment. The officer shall not issue a citation or make an arrest under this section unless the officer reasonably believes that an offense has occurred and that, based on any response and other circumstances, no defense in subsection (f) of this section is present.
(i) Any minor found in violation of this section shall, for the safety of the minor, be taken into custody of the City of Deer Park Police Department or, at the discretion of the City of Deer Park Police Department, be placed in an appropriate youth services agency or bureau, whereupon the parent, guardian or adult person having care and custody of the detained minor shall be notified to make an appearance at the place where the minor is detained. Upon the appearance of the parent, guardian or adult person having care and custody of the detained minor, the minor shall be released. In the event no parent, guardian or adult person having care and custody of the detained minor personally appears for the detained minor, then such minor shall be transferred to juvenile agency authorities in accordance with any applicable law.
(j) The penalty for any parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor who violates subsection (d) of this section shall be as follows:
(1) In cases of a first offense, a written warning shall be issued by a City of Deer Park Police officer, after which the child shall be immediately taken within the care and custody of the parent, guardian or other adult person;
(2) In cases of a second offense, such parent, guardian or other adult person shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor; or
(3) In cases of a third or subsequent offense, such parent, guardian or other adult person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
(k) Minors who are in violation of subsection (b) or (c) of this section shall be cited to and prosecuted in the Hamilton County, Ohio juvenile court in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Chapter 2151.
(l) The penalty for any owner, operator, or any employee of the business establishment or facility in violation of subsection (e) of this section shall be as follows:
(1) In cases of a first offense, a written warning shall be issued by a City of Deer Park Police Officer;
(2) In cases of a second offense, such owner, operator, or employee of the business establishment or facility shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor; or
(3) In cases of a third or subsequent offense, such owner, operator, or employee of the business establishment or facility shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
(m) A separate offense shall be punishable for each particular violation of this section. (Ord. 97-31. Passed 10-13-97.)

March 2026 Monthly Report

DAY SHIFTS

03/03 4400 block of Orchard Ln. Domestic Trouble. The complainant stated that his daughter’s boyfriend was on the front porch, banging on the door and trying to gain access. The daughter and boyfriend left the scene. No report or charges per complainant.

03/05 4300 block of Schenck Ave. A large truck brought wires down. The wires were moved, and Duke was notified.

03/06 4200 block of Oakwood Ave. Our officers assisted HCSO deputy investigating theft of medication. The suspect lives in the city but the theft occurred in Sycamore Township.

03/07 7200 block of Brookline Ave. Auto Accident. The complainant’s vehicle was parked on the street and was struck by a black vehicle that left the scene. A report was taken.

03/08 4200 block of Hegner Ave. Investigation. Reference the above hit/skip accident, officers located the striking vehicle. The owner was cited for leaving the scene and no driver’s license.

03/11 Chamberlin Healthcare. Unknown Trouble. The facility management requested our assistance with an employee who was fired and refused to leave the property. The officer persuaded the ex-employee to leave. Prosecution was declined by management.

03/13 3800 block of St. Johns Terrace. Suspicious Activity. The complainant found a crowbar next to his house. It is unknown how it got there or who it belongs to.

03/16 Chamberlin Health Care. Missing Person. A patient was taken from the facility by an unauthorized family member. A report was taken, and the missing person was entered into the system.

03/21 Chamberlin Heath Care. A male patient assaulting nurses on the second floor. A nurse was able to gain control prior to the officer’s arrival.

03/24 Eastside of town. Several unlocked vehicles gone through overnight. Officers recovered some property that they believe was discarded by the suspect along their way.

03/26 3800 block of Lansdowne Ave. Domestic Trouble. The complainant called to advise that they set the previously-loved one’s property out on the front porch. A few minutes later, the previously-loved one called police asking for an es**rt to retrieve the property that was placed on the porch. Everyone was assisted by us.

03/26 7200 block of Blue Ash Rd. Domestic Trouble. An individual, who has an active protection order from a previous incident, was at work when the person named in the order arrived at the location. The responding officer arrested the individual and transported them to the justice center.

03/27 3700 block of Frontenac Ave. Theft. The victim received a call from someone claiming to represent his bank. The victim made a cash withdrawal and deposited it in a Bitcoin account. They made another withdrawal and put it on a gift card. Total loss was $4,000.

03/30 7200 block of Plainfield Rd. Suspicious Person. Complainant reported a male subject behaving suspiciously. Subject was identified and sent on way. Contact was also made with staff at nearby business ref: criminal trespassing issues; advised that paperwork needs to be filled out.

03/30 7700 block of Montgomery Rd. Assist Other Department. Assisted Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies with domestic dispute at business. Couple lives in city limits and was warned and advised for behavior.

03/30 7300 block of Parrot Ln. Domestic Trouble. Complainant reported that his brother, who lives with their mother, had assaulted her. Mother was uncooperative, and there was no evidence of injuries. Both the Council for the Elderly and the Health Department were notified.

03/30 7300 block of Richmond Ave. Parking Complaint. Complainant reported a Mack truck that kept blocking her driveway and the driver kept arguing with her. Driver was delivering to a residence and had limited room to maneuver.

03/30 4300 block of Oakwood Ave. Theft. Complainant reported that while away from home for an extended period, they had asked neighbor to take care of dog, and when they returned home, neighbor refused to return dog. Complainant was advised to respond to P.D. with paperwork for report.

03/30 Blue Ash Rd. Hit/Skip Auto Accident. Complainant was involved in auto accident with another vehicle, who left the scene prior to officer’s arrival. No damage was done to complainant’s vehicle, and they were advised to contact P.D. if they ended up wanting a report.

03/31 7800 block of Dearborn Ct. Check Residence. Complainant reported fire in backyard and was concerned due to high winds. Contact made with resident, who was advised to keep water on standby near his fire pit.

NIGHT SHIFTS

3/2 – Galbraith @ Plainfield – A traffic stop was initiated on a driver for several marked lanes violations. The driver was just arrested a few weeks prior by DPPD for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was once again intoxicated, and he was arrested for OVI again, as well as his marked lanes violations and operating a vehicle under an active OVI suspension. His vehicle was towed and he was transported to the Justice Center.

3/4 – 7900 block of Blue Ash – Officers responded to Jewish Hospital for a report of an alleged assault that occurred in our jurisdiction. The person that was allegedly assaulted refused to talk to us and denied he needed any police assistance. No other calls about the incident were received.

3/4 – Bader Court – Officers on routine patrol observed a subject take off running from a vehicle. Officers discovered the vehicle had a stripped steering column; however, the vehicle had not yet been reported to be stolen by the vehicle owner. Officers contacted the owner, and the vehicle was reported stolen by the owner at that time, who did not know it was missing. The vehicle was returned to the owner, and a report was completed. The possible suspect is well-known by our department, and the investigation is ongoing.

3/4 – 7200 block of Blue Ash – Officers attempted to wake up an intoxicated patron at a local drinking establishment. Attempts to wake the subject up and get the subject home were unsuccessful. Squad was contacted, and the subject was transported to the hospital. The intoxicated subject finally woke up at the hospital, and the subject was found to have warrants for their arrest. The subject was also cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

3/7 – 4000 block of Galbraith – Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for numerous traffic violations. The operator of the vehicle was highly intoxicated and failed all SFST’s. The operator had a juvenile in the vehicle as well. The driver was arrested for OVI and child endangering.

3/9 – 7100 block of Irwin – Officers responded to the residence for a domestic dispute. The dispute was verbal only, and the male half of the residence agreed to leave voluntarily for the night.

3/9 – 4100 block of Galbraith – Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for reckless driving. The driver of the vehicle had an active warrant for his arrest. Upon asking the operator to exit the vehicle, a bag of white powder, later testing positive for co***ne, was observed next to the driver. He was arrested for drug possession and his warrant.

3/10 – 4400 block of Clifford – Officers received numerous calls about several unruly juveniles in the area. The juveniles were screaming at each other, creating alarm and annoyance, and attempting to flee from their parents, who were following them in a vehicle. Officers arrived on scene, and one of the subjects (who happened to be the only adult) took off running from officers after several commands to stop. The subject was apprehended and wanted by another department for another incident that occurred out of our jurisdiction prior in the night. He was arrested by us for disorderly conduct and obstruction and then released to the custody of the other department, who transported him to the Justice Center.

3/12 – 4300 block of Oakwood – Two juveniles were observed by the complainant checking car door handles in the area. Officers set up a perimeter and arrived in the area on foot patrol. Officers located both juveniles in a vehicle that did not belong to them. The juveniles are the same juveniles we arrested last month for similar incidents. The juveniles were once again arrested on additional charges and transported to juvenile jail.

3/12 – 4100 block of Galbraith – Officers stopped an individual late at night for bicycle equipment violations. The individual was arrested on open warrants.

3/14 – 7200 block of Ohio – Officers received a complaint of an intoxicated subject, who arrived at the bar, and was drooling all over himself and unable to maintain balance. Officers assisted in bringing the intoxicated subject home to one very unhappy girlfriend.

3/17 – 3800 block of Galbraith – Officers assisted staff with an aggressive patient, who was making threats toward staff, and had barricaded himself in his room. Officers had to force entry into the room, where the patient then attempted to fight officers. The patient was restrained and transported by the squad to UC PES.

3/18 – 3700 block of Frontenac – Officers responded to the residence for a complaint of a domestic assault. Officers made entry into the residence, and a male subject had a female subject pinned to the ground as she shouted for help. The male subject was arrested for domestic violence. During the booking process, the male subject attempted to fight officers and assaulted one of our officers. He was arrested for domestic violence and assault on a law enforcement officer.

3/21 – 3800 block of Superior – Officers on routine patrol observed a subject passed out in the driver’s seat of a running motor vehicle. The driver had a field of open beer cans in the vehicle surrounding him and a bag of ma*****na on his lap. The driver was asked to turn the car off and turned the radio off instead. The subject failed all SFST’s and was placed under arrest for OVI and open containers in a motor vehicle prohibited.

3/28 – 7200 block of Plainfield – An aggressive panhandler, who was advised to stay away from the store before by owners, was back on property. The subject signed a criminal trespass notice form. The panhandler was given one last final warning to stay away from the property, or he would be arrested.

3/31 – Assist other Dept – Officers assisted the HCSO with locating two missing juveniles. The juveniles were located and returned to their parents.

April 2026 Monthly Report

DAY SHIFTS

04/01 7900 block of Plainfield Rd. Squad Run. A juvenile fell off an electric bicycle and broke their leg.

04/09 4200 block of Oakwood Ave. Squad Run/ Death report. A cardiac event, resident not responsive. The coroner was notified and is investigating.

04/09 4000 block of E. Galbraith Rd. Hit/Skip Crash Report. An officer solved the crash, and a report was taken.

04/11 8000 block of Lake Ave. Criminal Damaging. Someone painted graffiti on the complainant’s vehicle. No report requested.

04/15 8000 block of Plainfield Rd. A Squad Run. An off-duty officer noticed a male who appeared to be intoxicated and disoriented. When the squad arrived, the man ran away. Officers located him nearby. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and two open warrants. He was transported to the P.D. for paperwork and released to his disappointed mother.

04/21 Warrant Service in Forest Park, Ohio. Several of our officers served an arrest warrant and search warrant on an individual who previously resided on Wentworth Lane in connection with several reported crimes. He was charged with unlawful sexual contact with a minor and pandering obscenity involving a minor. He was transported to the Justice Center. Several more charges will be filed at a later date. The juvenile involved has never lived in Deer Park.

04/23 4200 block of Clifford Rd. Theft. The victim reported their catalytic converter was stolen from their vehicle. A report was taken.

04/25 7600 block of Plainfield Rd. Request for Assist. 18-month-old child locked themselves in a closet, and the key did not work. An officer broke down the door, and everyone was happy.

04/27 7800 block of Plainfield Rd. Suspicious Activity. The caller stated that two males were walking down the street and grabbed a vehicle door handle, attempting to gain entry. They were also looking into other vehicles. An officer located them waiting on a bus near IGA. The male with a backpack gave permission to check his bag. Nothing of evidential value was observed.

04/29 3900 block of Hemphill Way. Suspicious Activity. The caller was concerned about a female possible filming her residence. An officer contacted the suspect and was informed that she was communicating via FaceTime.

04/30 7200 block of Brookline Ave. Juvenile Complaint. The caller stated a small child was on the sidewalk by themselves. The officers located the child and attempted to locate the parents. Officers were met by the mother near Glenway Ave. and Maple Ave. The child made a break for it out the back door when the younger sibling caused a distraction, and mom took the bait.

04/30 United Dairy Farmers. Theft. The caller stated that a suspect removed an item from the store without payment. The officers located the suspect several blocks away. No report or charges because prosecution was declined by the store.

04/30 7900 block of Blue Ash Rd. Hit Skip Accident. A vehicle was parked near the Deer Park Deli. It was struck by another vehicle, which the operator failed to stop and report the crash. Our officers were able to track down the striking vehicle, the owner, and the operator. The operator was cited for driving under suspension and leaving the scene of an accident. The owner was cited for wrongful entrustment of a motor vehicle because they knew the operator was under suspension.

NIGHT SHIFTS

4/1 – 4100 block of Schenck – A resident called and advised dispatch of a subject trespassing on her property. The subject had been previously warned about trespassing at the residence. The subject fled the scene prior to our arrival. Officers were able to locate the subject at UDF later. The subject had open warrants. A search incident to arrest produced drug paraphernalia and syringes. The subject was arrested on open warrants, drug paraphernalia, drug abuse instruments, and trespassing. The subject was transported to the Justice Center.

4/2 – 7600 block of Plainfield – Officers located a missing juvenile in Chamberlain Park. The juvenile was turned over to the agency that reported her missing.

4/3 – 7600 block of Plainfield – Officers located a suspicious vehicle in Chamberlain Park after hours. Contact was made with the driver, and he was advised of the park hours.

4/4 – 7700 block of Monticello – Officers responded to the address for a welfare check after a complainant called and stated that the resident was sending him messages regarding his mental health status. Officers made contact with the resident, who advised us that everything was okay, denied being depressed, and declined any psych services offered to him at this time.

4/4 – Eustis Ct – Officers made contact with a juvenile, who was out past curfew. Contact was made with the parents, and the juvenile was es**rted back to his residence. Side note; the police department keeps a curfew log on file. Repeat offenders are cited downtown.

4/5 – 4200 block of Oakwood – Officers responded to the address for a fight. The fight was between family members, and nothing physical was observed or reported. Property was damaged but prosecution was declined. The family members agreed to go their separate ways for the night.

4/6 – Assist other dept.- Officers responded out of territory to a nearby jurisdiction for an officer needs assistance call. An officer was physically fighting with a subject. Officers assisted as needed.

4/8 – 4200 block of Oakwood – Officers responded to the apartment complex (again) for a complaint of a disorderly person. Loud music could be heard from the street. The tenant was warned and advised for disorderly conduct.

4/14 – 7600 block of Plainfield – Officers made contact with several individuals in the park after hours. They were warned and advised of park hours and sent on their way.

4/14 – 7600 block of Plainfield – Officers took a vehicle theft report. The complainant accidentally dropped her keys in the park. A juvenile suspect took the keys and her vehicle. Officers were able to track and recover the vehicle in Cincinnati. The complainant declined prosecution.

4/15 – Dillonvale Alley – Officers located a suspicious vehicle behind the businesses after hours. The occupant of the vehicle had felony warrants for his arrest. Clermont County Sheriff’s Office picked the subject up and transported him to Clermont County Jail.

4/17 – 4000 block of Galbraith – Several subjects were warned and advised for panhandling and open container violations at a business. They were trespassed from the business and sent on their way.

4/18 – 4200 block of Hegner – Officers made contact with a juvenile out past curfew in the area. He was es**rted back to his residence, and his parents were advised.

4/19 – 4000 block of Oleary - Officers were dispatched to the area to check on the welfare of a subject with blood on his shirt. The subject was intoxicated and had a self-inflicted hand injury after an argument with his girlfriend. Contact was made with his girlfriend and she verified everything. Deer Park medics treated the hand injury, and the subject went inside his residence for the night.

4/19 – 4200 block of Oakwood – Officers responded to the multiple family apartment complex numerous times for several noise complaints (as we do weekly). The subjects were given several warnings to quiet down and were highly intoxicated. Loud arguing could be heard from the street and woke up several other tenants. After the multiple warnings failed to work, the apartment tenant and another subject were both cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and transported to the Justice Center.

4/26 – Hemphill – 3 juveniles were warned and advised for curfew violations. Very unhappy parents arrived on scene to pick them up.

4/27 – 3800 block of Lansdowne – Officers responded to the area for a soliciting complaint. Contact was made with the individual, and he was warned and advised for soliciting without a permit and sent on his way.

4/30 – 4200 block of Oakwood – Officers responded to the apartment complex for a disorderly subject. The subject had locked herself out of the apartment and forced entry into her apartment. The complainant was advised.

This month Deer Park Police Department responded to 919 citizens’ calls for service.

We took 11 Offense reports, 6 Auto Accident reports, and made 27 Arrests
