The Deerfield Fire Department would like to congratulate the Deerfield High School Track & Field Team on qualifying for State!

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and determination these student-athletes have shown throughout the season. As they head to state, they carry with them the support and pride of our entire community.

Good luck to all of our athletes and coaches—we'll be cheering you on every step of the way. Represent Deerfield with pride, and enjoy this well-earned opportunity!

Please note late this week or early next week, the Water Utility will start the annual process of flushing hydrants throughout the Village. This work is done to ensure hydrants are working properly and helps to flush any sediment out of the system.

If you notice discoloration in your water, you can either let it sit for a while to settle before running the tap or run the tap until the water runs clear. Thank you for your patience as we complete this important task!

Happy International Firefighters’ Day

We would like to take a moment to recognize and thank the men and women who serve our community with courage, compassion, and commitment.

The Deerfield Volunteer Fire Department are not just responders… they are your neighbors, friends, and family members—and they proudly serve as volunteers. They show up at all hours, leaving their homes, jobs, and families behind, ready to help when it matters most.

We are grateful for each and every one of our members and the sacrifices they make to keep our community safe. We also want to extend a thank you to all of the neighboring fire departments who are there for additional support when needed. This collaboration keeps all of our communities safe.

Our Bowing tournament is Saturday! We still have 1 opening at noon and 1 opening at 6 pm. Please let us know if you would like to help fill one of the spots. This is for a 5 person team. We have raffles throughout the day

We are jut under 2 weeks to our bowling tournament. We do have a couple spot open for our noon shift and a couple spots for the 6 pm shift. Please reach out if you would like to sign up! You can always come and participate in raffles throughout the day as well.

On Wednesday, February 25, the Village will be closing Savannah Pkwy from Liberty St to Venture Ln at 6:00a to repair a water main break. During this time, water service to all properties along that street will be turned off.

The Village apologizes for the inconvenience and hopes to have water service restored later that afternoon.

Our bowling tournament is March 21st. We still have openings at noon and 6pm. Our 3pm shift is full. Not a bowler? You can still come and participate in raffles that we have throughout the day.

On Tuesday, December 16th, the Village will be closing South Prairie Street from State Street to Quarry Street starting at 6 am to repair a water main break. During this time, water service to all properties along that street will be turned off.

The Village apologizes for the inconvenience and hopes to have water service restored later in the afternoon on Tuesday, December 16th.
