After consulting with a few of our food trucks their profits have been steadily declining in Deerfield. This is possibly the reason some trucks are not scheduling and not showing up. We are looking at changing our scheduling to every other week or 1x per month. We would like some input on preference one way or another.

The DPW will be conducting village wide hydrant flushing Monday 8/10 and Tuesday 8/11. During this time we will be stirring up and flushing out anything that has settled out in our lines, this may cause brown or dirty looking water for a short period of time. Please make sure you run a faucet or shower until water looks clear before use and especially before you run a load of laundry in the washer.

Also, just a reminder that Bulk Water will be closed during flushing and will reopen Wednesday at 6am.

We apologize for any misunderstanding as someone has commented on a post from 5yrs ago about the Splash Pad being closed for the season. That automatically made that post visible and misleading.

The splash pad is open from 10am-8pm daily 7 days a week for the rest of the season.

We know many of you count on our food trucks and we do our best to fill every Wednesday. This week we came up short, everyone we’ve reached out to were booked or unavailable. Next week we have The Big Jerrowski coming in!

Calling all Village of Deerfield 49238 Deerfield residents, see you Wed night! Keep in mind it’s supposed to be 95 that day so the inside of the truck will be over 100 degrees! We may need to take a break or two to be safe. See you soon!
