Come to the Deering Town Hall on Saturday, June 29th at 2 pm to see live hawks and owls. The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center will present their program, “Eyes of the Wild”, hosted by the Deering Library and Deering Association. View these magnificent birds, and learn about their role in nature. Please join us for this family friendly event.
The 250th Committee will also be selling tickets and merchandise. Hope to see you there!

SPECIAL PROGRAM - The Deering Library will showcase its new portrait of Frances Deering Wentworth, with a discussion led by resident and historian Tim Finn. Join us to learn about the interesting story of our Town’s namesake, and how our Town came to be named Deering. The presentation begins at 11 am.
