This morning there was a line break at the intersection with County Highway 1087 that required a shut down of the water main line servicing Plantation Lane. Plantation Lane in under a precautionary boil water notice until such time as clearance is received. Please check the web site for information or the door hangar given to residents on Plantation Lane.

PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE for Windflower St.

A water main break has occurred in the area around _Windflower Street_, which has necessitated turning off water to these customers in the affected area. Although the repair has been made, to assure the water is safe to drink, water samples for two (2) consecutive days must be taken and tested to ensure the lines are free from

any bacteria. This precautionary boil water notice is for customers of this area only. No other customers of Mossy Head Water Works, Inc. are affected.

Therefore, as a precaution for customers of _Windflower Street and surrounding_,

we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing

dishes be boiled.
2.A roiling boil for one minute is sufficient.
3.As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
4.You can also draw water in a one gallon clean container and add 10 drops of unscented bleach to the water, replace top on container and shake. Remove the cap and let the water stand for thirty (30) minutes.

This “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this causes you and your family. Our primary concern is to assure you that the water we provide is safe. As soon as we receive information from the lab confirming the water samples are clear, we will advise you.

💦📢Freezing temps are coming. The next few nights when we dip into freezing temperatures, please think about your exposed pipes. If you choose to leave water dripping, please monitor the drip. You will be responsible for all water usage. Thank you, and stay warm. ❄️⛄️
