The Veterans Assistance Commission of DeKalb County, Illinois Inc., (VACDC) is a County Government Agency that is operated by and for Veterans. The Commission provides services and financial aid to military Veterans and their families who reside in DeKalb County and qualify for and/or need assistance. VACDC provides assistance with the following issues:
Preparation of the Department of Veterans Af

fairs (Veterans Benefit Administration (VBA) forms
Preparation of the Veterans Healthcare Administration (VHA) forms
Preparation of other documents, which relate to benefits available to the Veteran and their dependents. Answering questions about the benefits they have applied for or are receiving
Help in applying for additional benefits if entitled
Follow up services on pending claims
