4-C: Community Coordinated Child Care 4-C is a private not-for-profit social service agency that for 50 years has helped families and child

4-C began in 1971 as a 501(c)(3) agency, serving only the city of DeKalb, IL. Currently, the agency serves six counties - Carroll, DeKalb, Lee, McHenry, Ogle and Whiteside and employs 42 staff. 4-C is funded by federal, state and local governments as well as United Ways, foundations and private donations.

For your planning purposes, CCU is typically a small conference with numbers ranging from 90-120. Participants will largely be Child Care Center staff and Family Child Care staff, with a smaller number of participants being from social service agencies and public school system Early Childhood staff. This is not a “themed” conference so topics can vary.
