When you're preparing to PCS, make sure you check out Homes.mil — the official DoD site — for housing options around your new duty station. Just remember, it’s .mil, not .com. The .com site belongs to a completely unrelated, non‑DoD company and will take you somewhere totally different.

On April 6, 2026, all Commissaries will begin charging for single use plastic bags ($0.05) and paper bags ($0.10), in an effort to encourage shoppers to bring their own reusable bags. (Confirmed with Tinker Commissary Staff)

Did you Know???

The Commissary now serves PIZZA!! You can buy it as Take-n-Bake or they can bake it for you. Also, they have Pizza by the slice (under the heat warmer) if you so incline. This may make your dinner planning easy. 🍕 😋🍕
