🚨 WE WANT YOUR INPUT, LAKE COUNTRY! 🚨

LCFR partners with Waukesha County Emergency Management to prepare for and respond to large-scale emergencies and disasters. As the County updates its Integrated Preparedness Plan (IPP), they’re looking for input from the people who live and work here.

The short survey takes about 10–15 minutes and will help guide future emergency planning, training, and preparedness efforts throughout Waukesha County.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected across our area between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM, with the potential for damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes. Please stay weather aware, have multiple ways to receive warnings, and be prepared to take shelter if conditions worsen.

Learn how the referendum would complete LCFR’s long-range staffing plan and provide 12 firefighter/paramedics on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to serve our communities.

Our firefighters’ health is our top priority, and today we took a big step in protecting it. We want to extend a sincere thank you to Kelmann Restoration and Preferred Cleaning Services for coming out to our station to provide expert decontamination services. From our apparatus to our SCBA gear, they ensured that carcinogens were removed so we can continue to respond safely. Thank you for looking out for our crew!

🎆 Nagawicka Lake Fireworks Are ON for Tonight! 🎆

The weather is looking good, and we’re excited to announce that the Nagawicka Lake fireworks display is ON as scheduled this evening!

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Spielbauer Fireworks for their incredible work putting together another spectacular show, and to all of the generous donors whose support makes this community tradition possible year after year. We also want to recognize the dedicated crews and volunteers who have spent countless hours preparing the display for tonight.
