The mission of the Delanco Township Police Department is to protect the lives and property of those who live and work within Delanco Township, and who visit the Township of Delanco; and to serve the community’s desire for a peaceful and safe existence through the enforcement of the laws and through crime prevention efforts. Every Delanco Township Police Officer is committed to this mission and will make every effort to deliver professional police service with integrity and honesty, and in a manner that respects the rights of all people.

The Delanco Township Police Department would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of the residents, families, township staff, township committee members, volunteers, and the vendors who came out to support this year’s National Night Out.

It was a wonderful evening filled with fun, conversations, and community spirit. Events like this strengthen the partnership between our officers and the residents we are proud to serve.

The pictured cellphone was located in the area of the Babe Ruth Field at Cooper St. / Hickory St. and turned over to police.

Anyone with information or claiming ownership of the phone is asked to call our non-emergency line at (856)-461-1515 or respond to the municipal building at 770 Coopertown Road to speak with an officer.

The Delanco Township Police Department is proud to congratulate Sergeant Lipiec on his promotion from Acting Sergeant to Sergeant.

During the Delanco Township Meeting on Monday, June 29, 2026, Sergeant Lipiec was officially sworn in and recognized for his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving the Delanco community.
