The mission of the Delanco Township Police Department is to protect the lives and property of those who live and work within Delanco Township, and who visit the Township of Delanco; and to serve the community’s desire for a peaceful and safe existence through the enforcement of the laws and through crime prevention efforts. There has been an increase in scam callers coercing residents into sending them various types of cryptocurrencies. These scams involve Bitcoin ATM’s, fake investments websites, romance scams, and even job offers.

Scammers will make you feel as though the situation is urgent and tell you the cryptocurrency must be sent to them quickly to prevent any detriment to you or loved ones. We would like to remind residents, if you are ever unsure, please contact our non-emergency line at (856) 461-1515.

The Delanco Township Police Department is actively investigating a threat made to Pearson School.

Out of an abundance of caution, students and staff at Pearson School are being safely sheltered in place. Our officers are conducting a full investigation that is underway.

The 2026 Police Unity Tour is fast approaching and this year, 3 of our officers will be riding along with officers from Riverside Twp, Delran Twp, Edgewater Park, Burlington City, and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office to make up Team DelRiverPark. These officers will be participating in a multi-day bicycle ride to Washington D.C to raise awareness and serve as a powerful tribute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while in the line of duty. Leading up to this event, officers raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum. If you would like to support our officers, please consider one of the following options:

-Purchasing a DelRiverPark Police Unity Tour T-shirt and/or hoodie. Purchases can be made in person at the police station or through Venmo. If you would like to purchase apparel, please include your name, size, and phone number. Unfortunately, shipping is not available.
