💛 THANK YOU! 💛

Because of the incredible collaboration with our local DeLand Branch 2591 of the National Association of Letter Carriers, along with volunteers, donors, and staff, more than 15,000 pounds of shelf-stable food were received on Saturday to help stock our Food Choice Pantry!

Every can, box, and bag represents hope for families, seniors, and individuals facing food insecurity in our community. As the need for assistance continues to rise, your generosity helps ensure our pantry shelves remain filled for neighbors who need support the most.

From those who donated food, to the mail carriers and volunteers who collected, loaded, and sorted, to the staff who coordinated the effort—THANK YOU for coming together to make a real difference.

Together, we are feeding hope and strengthening our community. 🥫❤️

We are absolutely overflowing with gratitude for the Victoria Gardens Women’s Club!🙏🏼

Today, these incredible women presented us with a $20,000 donation to support our new Tiny Home Community, helping local individuals and families transition out of homelessness. But they didn’t stop there—the ladies also rallied the entire Victoria Gardens community to collect five carloads of food for our new Choice Food Pantry! 🚗💨

In honor of their immense contributions to our cause, we're delighted to name one of our tiny homes after the Victoria Gardens Women's Club.🏘

Thank you all for being such dedicated champions for our neighbors in need. We couldn't do this without you!!

05/13/2026

We are applying for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding through Volusia County to help sustain and strengthen our food pantry and food recovery program serving low-to-moderate income residents throughout Volusia County.

Over the past two years, we have seen a 16% increase in individuals and families seeking food assistance. In 2025 alone, our team distributed 363,226 meals and provided food assistance to 5,528 individuals, including 1,022 children. ❤️

This funding would help support essential pantry operations including food recovery transportation, refrigeration and utility support, pantry supplies, and operational costs associated with food distribution services to meet the rising need we are seeing in our community.

As part of the CDBG application process, we are seeking community input regarding this funding request. Questions or feedback can be sent to [email protected].

Thank you to our community, volunteers, donors, and partners who make this work possible every day.
