Two weeks to qualify for the ballot!

The window to start filing the paperwork to qualify for the ballot is now open! But the campaign still needs $247 to reach the qualifying fee so voters will have a Libertarian candidate on the ballot for Florida’s 28th State House District in 2026.

Let’s give the voters here in Florida a candidate on the ballot who believes:

- parents know best what’s best for their children’s education.
- eliminating the Property Tax burden that government uses to artificially raise the affordability of living.
- restoring the ability for adults 18-20 year olds to purchase a firearm to protect themselves.
- stop the poisoning of our public landscaping which is destroying our environment with chemical runoff in our water.
- decriminalize recreational plants.

The Libertarian Party of Volusia County (LPVC) is entirely supported by the donations of its members and supporters, with donations of money and time.

The LPVC does not receive money from the state or national party, nor from political funding entities. This affiliate relies entirely upon the financial donations from supporters, like you, to purchase booths at local festivals, tables at gun shows, and to send mailers. All monies you donate to the Libertarian Party of Volusia County will be spent locally.

Similarly, the LPVC relies on the donations of time and energy, from people like you, to volunteer their time at those events petitioning for local candidates and having reasonable conversations with those that need to hear about voluntary solutions to the problems in our community and the world around us.

If you will commit to supporting the Libertarian Party of Volusia County with a small donation, it will add up. A recurring monthly donation of $5, about the cost of a cup of coffee, will pay for one gun show this year. As little as $10 per month will help cover the cost of a community festival.
