Our crews have been responding to a 12-inch water main break at Amelia and Hubbard that we hope to have resolved over the next several hours.

We have isolated the break and are making repairs now. Until then, residents in the immediate vicinity will experience little to no water pressure. If and when a boil water notice is issued, affected residents will be notified.

We are excited to announce that Spec Martin Stadium will host the 2025 Under Armour NEXT All-American Football Game. Airing live on ESPN, the game will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday, January 2.

This game will show the skills of the top high school athletes in the nation. Some alumni from this game have gone on to have very successful NFL careers including Kyler Murray, Myles Garrett, Julio Jones, Alvin Kamara and current rookie sensation Jayden Daniels.

The city's emergency contracted waste hauler started debris pickup operations today. The city also has a supplementary crew that has been making passes throughout the city and we are working to add more contracted crews to pickup operations.

We will try to provide weekly updates on what areas have been picked up.

Please be patient, as we anticipate this operation to take several weeks.

- All hurricane debris must be un-bagged and placed neatly by the curb. Otherwise, yard waste like leaves and grass clippings should be bagged or put in a container for GFL to pick up.

- Construction and demolition debris such as building materials, furniture and appliances must be separated from vegetative debris or it will not be picked up.

- Please do not stack or lean debris on mailboxes, fire hydrants or utilities.
