Stetson University congratulates the Williams Company and subcontractors for receiving eight 2026 Excellence in Construction Awards for projects recently completed on the DeLand campus.

The historical reconstruction of Hulley Tower (center) earned three awards, plus the Williams Co. received a coveted top award for 2026 Project of the Year.

The Associated Builders & Contractors, Central Florida Chapter, recognizes landmark projects each year as a Project of the Year, based on the highest level of commitment to quality, safety, overcoming unique obstacles, and meeting or exceeding the client's expectations.

Stetson's new 305-bed Lynn Hall (left) received two Eagle Awards, and the renovation of the Edmunds Center was recognized with an Eagle Award and an Award of Merit.

In total, the Williams Co. earned four awards at an awards banquet in Orlando this month while four subcontractors received awards for the Stetson projects. Thank you to all the award winners for exceptional work!

Stetson sales students normally find themselves at competitions across the country taking home big wins, but starting today they are hosting the inaugural Collegiate Sales Management Invitational (CSMI) for top students from across the United States and Canada.

Drawing on the expertise of the School of Business Administration and the award-winning Centurion Sales team, the competition is bringing top students to campus Oct. 22-24 to test their leadership, coaching and decision-making skills while building connections with business leaders and potential employers.

🚌 To the Stadium: Departures from the Rinker Welcome Center at 11 AM, 11:30 AM, 12 PM, 12:30 PM and 1 PM.

🚌 Return to Campus: Departures from Spec Martin Stadium at 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 4 PM, 4:30 PM and 5 PM. The final shuttle will depart 15 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
