Fourth graders lit up DIS during S.T.E.P. orientation—135 students laughing, learning, exploring, and connecting with others. From team‑building games to kindness‑focused activities with The Ovation Company, students got a perfect preview of life at DIS. Confidence boosted. Jitters gone. Huge thanks to the amazing student leaders, Jessica Benker, and the Delano Education Foundation for making this day unforgettable.

Students in grades K-3 enjoyed a fun popsicle event with the elementary school principals! Popsicles with the Principals was a great opportunity to build community, connect families to the school administration and celebrate the school community together.

Forty-five talented students in grades 5–8 are rehearsing, learning their music, practicing choreography, and bringing The Music Man, Jr. to the stage in September. We’re so proud of their dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm! Save the dates: Sept. 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 13 at 3 p.m.
