Wisconsin Deafblind Technical Assistance Project Welcome to the Wisconsin Deafblind Technical Assistance Project (WDBTAP). We are a federally funded technical assistance and dissemination project.

We are a resource to families, agencies and schools Visit us on the web:http://www.wdbtap.wi.gov/ The goals of the Wisconsin DeafBlind Technical Assistance Project are to:

•Enhance the capacity of Service Providers to accurately identify children who are Deaf-Blind.

•Enhance capacity of Service Providers to support, instruct, and transition children who are Deaf-Blind.

•Support families and/or

caregivers of children who are Deaf-Blind.

•Implement a system of state and regional supports and policy enhancements

⚠️ Registration is Now Open for WDBTAP Family Day 2026! ⚠️

Join us May 2, 2026 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in the Wisconsin Dells for a day of learning and connection just for WDBTAP families! This year’s event will feature a presentation by D'Jenne-amal & Michael Morris, parents of a child with CHARGE syndrome who bring both lived experience and professional insight to their work.

Calling all WDBTAP families!

There is still time to send in photos or videos of your kiddo enjoying winter in their favorite way (it doesn't have to be sports-related!) as we celebrate the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Every WDBTAP child or young adult who participates in the Olympic Event will be mailed a fun kit containing a light-up hockey game, winter hat, 3D-printed gold medal, and a book telling about the Olympic Games.
