Cub Scouts is all about fun, adventure, and building character for boys and girls in grades K–5. From camping and hiking to STEM activities and community service, there’s something for every child to enjoy while learning valuable life skills.

Tonight’s the night! Come see us out at the cages ballots and for FREE COOKIES AND HOT COCOA at 101 E 1st St. after the basketball game! Live music happening at Common Ground Bakery!

CHRISTMAS LIGHT CONTEST! Delavan residents and businesses are encouraged to brighten the city and share the holiday spirit by competing in our Annual Christmas Light Contest! $100 cash prize for each first place winner!
Rules are as follows:
1. Entry deadline is December 15th.
2. Must be a Delavan resident with a Delavan address to enter. Reach out to (309) 840-5168 to enter or message the Delavan Park District page.
3. Lights must be on for the duration of the contest.
4. Voting will take place December 20th, 5-8:30pm. Stop by the batting cages at 101 e A St. for a map and ballot!
5. Four categories will be:
1-Griswald (LIGHTS LIGHTS LIGHTS!)
2-The Reason for the Season (Religious Theme)
3-Traditional
4-Business
6. Winners will be determined by most votes submitted in each category. Winners will be announced the night of the contest.

Today we saw an abundance of community support, sportsmanship, friendship, and unforgettable memories being made at our first annual wiffle ball tournament! Congratulations to our winners on games well played! Thank you to all the volunteers and participants who helped make this a success!
