🚨 Ohio's Wildlife Licensing System (OWLS) will be offline from 8 p.m. on Monday, September 7 through the afternoon of Tuesday, September 8. 🔶 🚧

🛑 Customers are encouraged to complete purchases ahead of time; none of the system functions will be available during the outage. Purchasing licenses and permits will not be possible during this short window, even in-person at a license vendor. Thanks for your patience!

🦇Have you noticed bats near sunset this summer? Join a Naturalist for an educational walk, talk, and craft all about Ohio's winged wonders! 5PM this coming Friday, August 28th at the Nature Center.

🐍Can't make it Friday night? Our Naturalist will also be leading a Feed and Greet this Saturday, August 29th, at 11AM at the Nature Center. Come learn about some of Ohio's wildlife and help feed the box turtles! 🐢

Do you need a break from the hustle of life? Is back-to-school season stressing you out? Join a naturalist for an hour of peaceful nature therapy!

Bring something to sit on that's easy to carry as a naturalist guides you on a short forested walk then practice some quiet, self-reflection techniques surrounded by greenery.

This For Adults program will be meeting at 6PM on Friday (8/21) at our Park Office at 3615 S. Old State Rd., Delaware, OH 43015. GPS (40.227859, 82.979920).

Join our Naturalist this next week for some free family fun!
🐟Sunday (8/16) 9A-Noon: Free Family Fishing at the campground pond- Poles and Bait provided! Adults and children over 15 need a fishing license in order to fish, meet at Nature Center at the Alum Creek State Park Campground🎣
🐢Wednesday (8/19) 3-5PM: Turtle Trivia Scavenger Hunt- Meet at Nature Center and do a trivia scavenger hunt themed around turtles to earn a prize!🔎
✏️Thursday (8/20) 10AM: Homeschool and For Kids Camouflage!- Meet at Nature Center for hands-on learning about critter camouflage!🐸
🏹Saturday (8/22) 1-3PM: Afternoon Archery- Meet at the campground amphitheater to get an introduction into archery and try it out for yourself! Bows for both youth and adults to borrow!🎯

Tonight our Naturalist will be hosting a moth talk at 6pm in the Nature Center. Additionally, from 8:30-10:30PM there will be a setup on display attracting nocturnal insects as our naturalist and Entomologists from the Ohio State University share their knowledge! If you don't have evening plans yet, we hope to maybe see you here! All details on the pictured flyer.
