🍁Free Fun Fall programs this week!🐍

Leaves have already begin changing color on the trees, come witness their beauty on Wednesday, 10/7, at 1pm on a 2-mile hike with our Naturalist. Meeting at the Park Office at 3615 S. Old State Rd. 43015. 🍂

Also! Come to the Nature Center this Friday, 10/9, at 5PM to learn about the Gray Ratsnake and create a sssssssssuper cool snake painting to take home! Great for kids and adults alike, best for ages 5+. Meet at the Nature Center at 2911 S. Old State Rd. Delaware, OH 43015. Park in the Camp Store parking lot- nature center is located behind the camp store, down the road. 🐍🖌

Thanks to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the Storybook Trail at Alum Creek State Park brings children’s stories to life along the path — giving families a chance to read, explore, and spend time together in the great outdoors. 🌳

Back to school season stressing you out or you just need a reason to get out of the house? Join our Naturalist TOMORROW (9/19/2026) at 1PM for a 2-Mile hike exploring forests and hearing some fun-facts about our local wildlife! All are welcome, please wear adequate footwear as there are some hills and roots with potential mud. Taking place at the park office located at 3615 S. Old State Rd. Delaware, Ohio 43015.

Alum Creek state park beach visitors— please be aware the beach opens at 10am starting September 5th until September 13th for early waterfowl hunting season. Please plan your visit accordingly for the safety of all visitors. Thank you!
