Women's City Club of Delaware

BIG thanks to Ohio Wesleyan University's FIJI members who came over to the Womens City Club of Delaware this morning to fix a broken door on our shed and winterize our home. The Phi Delta Gamma guys are special. More than 60 years ago, the WCC was their fraternity's house. The home that once housed men now houses low-income women. And the FIJI members still continue to serve their community in wonderful ways. Thank you, OWU Phi Delta Gammas!

A lot of members were busy tonight but a few were still able to get together for dinner at Hanks.

Big thanks to all of those who volunteered to help the Women's City Club of Delaware at the Delaware Arts Festival children's art tent. As usual, the kids enjoyed getting their faces painted and creating their own art. If you missed the opportunity to visit the tent, you can find out more about joining the WCC or supporting our important mission at wccdelaware.org

The WCC needs volunteers to help us with the craft booth for kids at the upcoming arts festival this Saturday and Sunday. If you can help, please call MaryAnn at 614-975-0962.

It’s a fun volunteer event as you can see from the pictures of last year’s arts fest.

We at the Women's City Club of Delaware are so proud of the members of this fraternity. They have been dedicated volunteers and have gone out of their way to help the residents we serve. They are truly wonderful young men!

The Ohio Wesleyan fraternity that helps the WCC is holding a cereal drive to benefit People in Need. If you can, buy some extra cereal and drop it off during the times and at the places listed below. Every bit helps!!
