Berlin Township Berlin Township is located in Delaware County, Ohio, Centered within Berlin Township is Alum Creek Lake and State Park a popular recreational area.

The Township is a mixture of commercial, farm and residential properties with a total area of approximately 22.5 square miles. Our population is approximately 10000 residents which has been gradually increasing each year due to the popularity of the area, the Olentangy School District and the proximity of the Township to Columbus Ohio. Services provided by the Township include a Roads Department, Zoning Department, Cemeteries and Fire Department. BZC 18-002, AMENDMENT #3 – 66 HYATTS RD

REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF BERLIN ZONING COMMISSION (BZC) CASE NO. 18-002, AMENDMENT #3, FOR MODIFICATIONS TO THE HYATTS PLAZA FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR PARCEL NO. 418-330-01-079-002 TO RELOCATE THE PROPOSED MONUMENT SIGN ALONG U.S. 23 AND DEVIATE FROM THE PERMITTED SIGN HEIGHT AND DISPLAY AREA.

SPECIAL TRUSTEE MEETING

The Berlin Township Board of Trustees will hold a Special Meeting on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 4:00pm. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the approval of a 6-month temporary moratorium on Data Centers and also to enter Executive Session pursuant to ORC 121.22 G (3) Conferences with an attorney for the public body concerning disputes involving the public body that are the subject of pending or imminent court action.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Berlin Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on September 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Berlin Township Hall, 3271 Cheshire Road, Delaware, Ohio 43015.

The Zoning Commission has initiated a proposed amendment to the Berlin Township Zoning Resolution, assigned Case No. BZC 26-005.

The proposed amendment text is available for public examination Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Berlin Township Zoning Office at the address above and online at www.berlintwp.us under the Zoning Commission Agenda and Meetings page.
