There is something truly special about being able to bless our children with a Back-to-School Bash. Seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter, and knowing that we are helping them begin a new school year feeling loved, encouraged, and prepared makes it all so rewarding. It is more than just school supplies, food, and fun—it is an opportunity to remind our children that their community believes in them and wants to see them succeed. Every child deserves to know that they are valued, supported, and surrounded by people who care about their future.
Heavenly Father, as our children begin this new school year, we ask You to place Your loving hand of protection over each and every one of them. Keep them safe as they travel to and from school, in their classrooms, on the playgrounds, and everywhere they go. Give them wisdom to make good choices, courage when they face challenges, and kindness toward one another. Protect their hearts and minds, guide their teachers and staff, and let Your presence go before them each day. May this school year be filled with learning, friendships, growth, and blessings. Lord, watch over our children, keep them safe, and bring them home to their families each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I would like to thank, Coalfield Community Action Partnership, Mingo County Health Department, Dreama Chapman and Ashley Townsend for coming out and setting up to bless our children.
A big thank you to all of the area business who donated supplies and food.
And as always to the Board of Commissioners and Executive Director for allowing us the opportunity to bless our Community.
