First job was 10,000 tons of greens mix to Eagle Point Golf Course, Wilmington NC. Brandon rode out to speak to the project manager about helping haul material.
After their conversation, B handed him his business card and was walking away when Jim Sparks said, Brandon wait a minute. Tell me about this Bible verse on your card, Philippians 4:13. B quoted the verse and told him why he chose it.
Mr. Sparks said, tell you what, I’ll give you a three week head start. Get me a stockpile going and you can haul all 10,000.
He hauled the first load April 1, 1999 and Parks Trucking was born and began a blessed journey with the blind trust on a young man.
We are so thankful for those roots in the golf course industry and the confidence Mr. Sparks had in Brandon.
