Delaware County FireFighters Association The Firefighters' Association is a 501c3 organization that is responsible for the fire training center in Delaware County, as well as other events.

The Firefighters Association consists of members of fire departments from all over delaware county. The association participates in the delaware county fair with the fire prevention tent. We also have available our "smokehouse" trailer to community groups for fire prevention education. We also host the annual delaware county fair parade in conjuction with the delaware county fair board. The Associ

ation is responsible for the creation of and the continued maintenance of the delaware county fire training center in hamden. We also have a broad awards program that offer a way for these individuals to be recongized for there selfless dedication to there communitys.

We have received word tonight that a phone call soliciting donations for a Firefirghters' group was received by a Delaware County resident.

*** The Delaware County Firefighters' Assn DOES NOT solicit via phone. Our annual fund drive letter was mailed in November. This is the only solicitation we make each year to support the ongoing training and recruitment here in Delaware County. ***

Please be cautious when answering these phone calls.
