City Forestry Dump Reminder

We’ve had an ongoing issue with items being dumped at the City Forestry Dump that do not belong there.

Please remember, the forestry dump is for grass, tree limbs and brush ONLY.

Please do not dump trash, household items, construction materials, furniture, or other debris at this location.

We want to be able to continue offering this service to our community, but we need everyone’s help using it properly. If you see something that doesn’t belong, please let the City know.

Thank you for helping us keep Delia clean and take care of our community resources!

A Friendly Reminder from the City of Delia

Please help us protect our sewer system by only flushing toilet paper.

Items such as baby wipes (even those labeled "flushable"), disinfecting wipes, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, tampons, cotton swabs, diapers, and grease should never be flushed or washed down the drain.

These materials do not break down properly and can clog pumps and damage equipment at our lagoon system. Repairs and maintenance caused by these items are expensive and ultimately cost the City—and our residents—money.

A few simple changes at home can make a big difference. Thank you for doing your part to help keep Delia's wastewater system running smoothly!

The City of Delia is currently under a Boil Water Advisory.

At this time, we do not know when the advisory will be lifted. We will continue to provide updates as information becomes available and will post immediately once the advisory has been lifted.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this situation.
