Southwest Arkansas 6 Day Forecast for June 1st through June 6th, 2026.

Monday & Monday Night: Mostly sunny with highs in the 90s. Widely scattered thunderstorms will be possible in the afternoon and evening. Winds light and variable. Overnight lows falling into the upper 60s to low 70s. Winds light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday & Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 80s to low 90s. An isolated storm will be possible, primarily near the arklatex state lines. Northeast winds around 5 mph. Overnight lows falling into the mid 60s to low 70s with northeast winds around 5-10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday & Wednesday Night: Mostly sunny with highs in the 80s to low 90s. East winds around 5-10 mph. Overnight lows falling into the mid 60s to low 70s. Southeast winds around 5 mph.

Thursday & Thursday Night: Partly cloudy with highs in the 80s. Southeast winds around 5-15 mph. Overnight lows falling into the mid 60s to low 70s. Southeast winds around 5 mph.

Friday & Friday Night: Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 80s to low 90s. An isolated thunderstorm will be possible in the afternoon. Southeast winds around 10-20 mph. Overnight lows in the low to mid 70s with southeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday & Saturday Night: Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 80s. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible in the afternoon with south-southeast winds around 5-15 mph. Overnight lows falling into the low to mid 70s. South winds around 5-10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

4:39 pm Radar Update (Sunday 5/31/26): Seeing a couple storms near the Fordyce, Hampton, and Camden areas at this time. Heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and frequent lightning will be possible with these storms.

Heads up Sparkman! A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of east central Clark and southwestern Dallas Counties through 3:00 PM CDT ...

At 2:15 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sparkman, or 18 miles southeast of Arkadelphia, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARDs: Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Sparkman... Dalark... Manning... Ouachita... Pine Grove...

Heads up for this afternoon, once again cannot rule out a strong to severe storm with any pop up storms that we see, mainly across eastern portions of the region. Gusty winds, large hail, and flash flooding will be the main risk. Overall not expecting much today but we could see a couple of summer time pop up storms. We will be watching it closely!

Good Sunday morning Southwest Arkansas. Let’s take a look at what’s in store for May 31st, 2026.

Temperatures will start out in the 70s this morning before warming into the upper-80s and lower-90s. Heat index values will be in the upper-90s and 100s. Mostly sunny skies will be likely through the day, with a chance of a pop up summer time storm. Winds will be out of the south southwest at around 5 mph. Overnight lows will be in the 70s and 60s.

Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Calhoun County in southwestern Arkansas... Southeastern Dallas County in southwestern Arkansas... Northeastern Ouachita County in southwestern Arkansas...

* Until 1145 PM CDT.

* At 838 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Fordyce... Bearden... Thornton... Harlow... Hopeville... Ramsey... Chambersville...
