Back To School Reminders:

It is time to get ready for a safe, smooth, and successful start to the new year! Here are a few reminders for students, parents, and neighbors:
• Watch for School Zones- Please slow down and obey posted speed limits. Be extra alert for crossing guards, school buses, and children walking or biking.
• School Bus Safety- Remember it is the law to stop when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended- both directions must stop.
• Morning & Afternoon Traffic- Allow extra time for drop-off and pick-up. Follow school staff instructions for traffic flow and loading zones to keep everyone safe.
• Crosswalk Courtesy- Yield to pedestrians and be patient, especially near busy school entrances.
• Be a Good Neighbor- Please keep the sidewalks clear, trim overgrown bushes, and be mindful of extra foot traffic during school hours.

Let us work together to give our students the safest, happiest, and most encouraging start possible. Here’s to a great school year ahead!

Summer is coming to an end, school is back in session next week....so make the most of the last couple of days at the pool. The pool will close for the season tomorrow, Saturday, August 15th at 8pm. Thank you for a great summer at the pool!

It's a beautiful day, but it doesn't look like temperatures are going to stay above 70 degrees for a sustained period of time today. The city pool will be closed today - Tuesday, August 4th. Looks like tomorrow is going to be a warmer day and great conditions for the Pool Party sponsored by Golden West from 5-8pm! Join us at the pool tomorrow!

Due to temperatures below 70 degrees, the city pool will be closed until 2:00 p.m. We will re-evaluate the temperatures at that time to make a determination on the rest of the day.
