Our Open Space Coordinator was a presenter at the New York State Land Trust Alliance conference this week. She shared some key recommendations from the Vision Plan and outlined the Town’s next steps to a packed room of land conservation practitioners.

Well that is something you don’t see everyday! On a conservation easement monitoring visit today, our Open Space Coordinator found 2 large cottonwoods that had been growing very close together and recently fell. Their roots had been intertwined, yet they fell in opposite directions, in a perfect line.
