Bethlehem Senior Projects, Inc. Bethlehem Senior Services provides information and referrals to services and programs for independently living residents of Bethlehem, age 60 and older.

Established to benefit and enable the elderly and poor of the community to remain as residents of Bethlehem, NY through additional services and programs, such as senior transportation, food pantry, Meals on Wheels delivery, social programs, and more. An “independently living resident" of the town is a person who lives in a home or apartment in the Town of Bethlehem and does not reside in an adult

care facility, retirement community, skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation facility. Bethlehem Senior Projects, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation guided by a volunteer board of directors and staffed by community volunteers.The organization raises funds for projects that support independence and community involvement for older residents and low income families of the Town of Bethlehem.

Post 1 of 2: What a beautiful day for Pickleball and the Bethlehem Community!

On behalf of Bethlehem Senior Projects Inc., thank you to every player, volunteer, sponsor, and spectator who made the Bethlehem Pickleball Tournament a tremendous success! Your energy, sportsmanship, and generosity were incredible.

A very special shout-out to our Tournament Director, Cathleen Crowley Denbeaux of Pickleball518, her tremendous volunteers and referees, and the entire Pickleball518 community who came out to play. This tournament was a success in large part because of Cathleen‘s dedication and expertise – we are so grateful!

We also want to recognize the town of Bethlehem Parks and Recreation for building and maintaining these beautiful 10 Pickleball courts at Elm Avenue Park that our community treasures. The courts and grounds are so well maintained, and it was wonderful having them as a partner again this year.

The funds raised will directly support the Town of Bethlehem Senior Services, helping to provide transportation, wellness programs, and activities that keep our seniors connected and thriving. We also fund the Food Pantry for families in need in Bethlehem, a resource that’s becoming increasingly vital in our community.

We are grateful to the local businesses and individual donors who are supporting our 2025 Bethlehem Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser to be held on Saturday, October 4th at the Elm Avenue Park in Delmar.

37 years ago, a partnership was formed between the Town of Town of Bethlehem Senior Services and Bethlehem Senior Projects, Inc.

Senior Projects, Inc. helps fund transportation services so that our seniors, aged 60+, don’t miss chemotherapy or doctor’s appointments, grocery store runs, and social outings that would otherwise be detrimental to their mental health and well-being.

We also provide funding for the Bethlehem Food Pantry, which is managed by TOB staff and volunteers, ensuring that the pantry shelves are always stocked and Bethlehem families do not go hungry.

Bethlehem Senior Projects, Inc. was built on the idea that our town should be a place where older adults can stay independent, connected, and supported. The Bethlehem Pickleball Tournament on October 4th (rain date Oct 5th) is more than just a fun day on the courts—it’s how we rally as a community to keep rides to doctor’s appointments, trips to the grocery store, and food on the table for our neighbors who need it most.

This tournament is only possible thanks to our incredible sponsors who step up to show that Bethlehem is a town where no one gets left behind. Their support gives us the energy to make this event—and the work behind it—a reality.
