Delmar Fire / Rescue Friends, Neighbors, Moms, Dads, Brothers and Sisters; these are your typical Firefighter. Over 70% of the nations firefighters serve on a volunteer basis.

Sacrificing countless hours away from thier friends and family training and preparing to protect the people and property of their community, they are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They typically contribute over $75,000 in free labor a year, and yet don't receive a dime.

The Delmar Fire Department would like to thank Farm Credit Services of America's Working Here Fund for awarding us a grant to help improve our grain bin rescue capabilities.

With this funding, we were able to purchase new rappelling gear, rappelling helmets, and new k-12 saw blades. This equipment will help our firefighters respond more safely and effectively during grain bin rescue emergencies.

We truly appreciate Farm Credit Services of America's support of our department and our rural community. Thank you for helping us better protect those we serve! 🚒🌽

The Delmar Fire Department would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Delmar Lions Club for their generous donation toward our Portable Lighting Project.

Because of your support, we have been able to add new portable scene lighting that will help our firefighters operate more safely and effectively during nighttime emergencies.

Community partnerships like this make a real difference, and we are grateful for organizations like the Delmar Lions Club that continue to invest in the safety and well-being of our community.

With our Money Wars fundraiser, we were able to donate half of the proceeds to the Delmar Fire Department. We are proud to share that we donated $561.23! We truly appreciate their willingness to give back to our local community and all that they do to keep us safe.
