ROAD CLOSURE – HIGH WATER

CR 350 E is CLOSED at the Wildcat Creek bridge, between CR 350 S and CR 500 S, due to water over the bridge.

Please DO NOT attempt to cross the bridge or drive through the water. Turn around and use an alternate route.

The road will remain closed until the water recedes and conditions are safe for travel.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana... Tippecanoe River near Delphi. Tippecanoe River at Oakdale Dam at Lake Freeman near Yeoman. Wabash River at Lafayette. .Heavy rainfall since Tuesday afternoon has led to rapid rises along the Tippecanoe River and Wabash River near Lafayette. Flooding is expected to begin shortly. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tippecanoe River near Delphi. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 11.8 feet, Extensive flooding along the Tippecanoe River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 7.6 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this morning to 11.6 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday afternoon to 7.7 feet early Saturday morning. It will rise to 7.8 feet early Saturday afternoon. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. -
