Every single time I have called Ellery, he has either answered promptly or gotten back to me quickly. He remembers the details of our situation, understands my concerns, and consistently comes back with thoughtful, appropriate options for my dad.
What makes this even more remarkable is how many times Ellery has put time and effort into helping me find a placement, only for me ultimately not to move forward. This has happened repeatedly, including while trying to arrange care for an upcoming trip. I can only imagine how frustrating that could be from his side. If I were him, I might have told me to never call again! Instead, Ellery has been exactly the opposite. Every time I reach out, he remains just as kind, understanding, patient, and willing to help as he was the first time.
Finding care for a parent is incredibly personal, emotional, and complicated. Having someone who never makes you feel like a burden, never pressures you into a decision, and genuinely seems to understand that you are simply trying to do what is best for someone you love is invaluable.
