Thanks to CRA funding, Carver Square Park received a full renovation completed this past January. New playground equipment inspired by the history of Frog Alley, along with updated landscaping, turf, seating, and amenities, has created a welcoming space for families to gather and play.

Another great season in the books! The 12th Annual Summer GreenMarket wrapped up late last month, closing out a run of Saturday mornings at the Old School Square Campus that began back in May. It was a strong summer season for local vendors and shoppers alike.

A look down Historic SW 5th Avenue, part of the corridor known as Frog Alley. This stretch is one of several historic areas within the CRA District, alongside Historic 5th Avenue, the West Settler’s Neighborhood, and the Sands, that carry deep cultural roots in Delray Beach’s story.

In 2007, the CRA honored these neighborhoods with dedicated banners and bronze medallions as part of the NW/SW 5th Avenue Beautification Project, a nod to the history woven into every block of this corridor. Today, this same corridor remains a focus for continued investment, with projects like the Edmonds Baine Building and 95 SW 5th Avenue helping carry that legacy forward.
