A Benefit Concert for the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad

Singer-songwriter Janie Meneely, “The Voice of the Chesapeake,” and Dutch-born guitarist/balladeer Rob van Sante bring the characters and history of the Bay to life with wit and clarity.

This Saturday at the Deltas’ final regular home game, just after 7:00 p.m., MCVRS members and Auxiliary will be honored on the field for our 70th anniversary. Junior member Eldon Rosas-Duke will sing the national anthem.🇺🇸
We’re honored to have Gary Smiley with us—a retired FDNY paramedic critically injured on 9/11 who still returned to help with recovery and later became an advocate for other injured first responders.
Gary is here because his therapy pup came from Blue Ridge Lane German Shepherds in Wake. The owners are the parents of Liam, whom MCVRS treated after a 20-foot fall from a tree. In thanks, they’re donating puppies for a raffle later this year and for our K-9 Kissing Booth at the 4th Annual Rescue Regatta.
Looking forward to standing with Gary on the field! Come on out and cheer for the Deltas!
