This Teacher Appreciation Week, our goal was simple: make sure every single teacher at Pride Elementary felt loved, celebrated, and appreciated with a special gift card—and thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we made it happen! 💙🍎
A huge THANK YOU to all of the local businesses and sponsors who donated gift cards and helped us honor the amazing educators who pour so much love, time, and dedication into our students every single day. Your kindness made a real impact, and we are beyond grateful.
Our community truly showed up and shined through—this is what makes Pride Elementary so special. 🌟

We apologize for the late post, but National School Librarian Day was earlier this week. We want to give a big THANK YOU to Mrs. Swindle for all the hard work that goes into this job. It is so much more than just book check-outs. Librarians and Media Center Specialists not only curate resources, manage the library, make lesson plans, run book fairs and other special events, create safe and welcoming spaces for learning and discovery. They also help to foster a love of reading within our children. In addition, Mrs. Swindle works with multiple groups of students everyday to reinforce their math and reading skills. Our children light up when they enter our media center and see Mrs. Swindle. Her creativity, dedication and love for her students shines through on a daily basis. Mrs. Swindle has been with Pride Elementary School since its opening and we have been blessed to have her!
