Volusia County Veterans Services is partnering with NXT Mission and CareerSource Brevard Flagler Volusia to present this program, designed to engage employers, educators and organizations in developing strategies for hiring and retaining military and veteran personnel. Millennial Housing Report: Where Are They Buying and Renting

Approximately 5.3 million millennials became homeowners in just five years nationally, which marks a 74% increase in millennial-owned households. To better understand renting and owning trends across the U.S., Rentcafe.com analyzed 107 metro areas with the largest millennial household populations, highlighting those with the most significant gains.

After first crossing the homeowner-majority threshold three years ago, millennials (also known as Gen Y) clearly show a preference for certain homebuying hotspots. Specifically, sunny metro areas in Florida and California top the list of regions with the most significant increases in millennial homeownership. Eight of the top 20 metro locations are in Florida including the Deltona-Daytona-Ormond MSA listed in ninth place. The Deltona metro experienced a 105% growth in millennial homeowership from 17,000-plus in 2018 to over 36,700 as of 2023.

The Hey Helen Grant is a privately funded initiative by visionaries who invest in women entrepreneurs building impact-driven, for-profit businesses in the U.S.

Each grant cycle, one founder will receive a $10,000 unrestricted cash award — designed to fuel whatever moves their business forward, whether that’s operations, growth, marketing, hiring, or infrastructure.
