🌈 Grateful to Be Part of Deltona's First Pride: Proclamation of Love 🌈

This year, Deltona made history by hosting its inaugural Pride event—Proclamation of Love. It was an honor to stand alongside so many passionate individuals as we celebrated love, equality, and the vibrant LGBTQ+ community. Together, we proved that love knows no boundaries and that every voice matters.

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and all who attended for making this moment unforgettable. Your support and courage inspire us all to continue advocating for a world where everyone can live authentically and without fear.

❤️💚🖤 Juneteenth: Freedom. Reflection. Action. 🖤💚❤️
June 19, 1865 — over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation — enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas finally received word of their freedom.

Juneteenth is a celebration of Black liberation and resilience, but it’s also a call to continue the fight for racial justice, equity, and true freedom for all.

As a Democrat, I believe that honoring Juneteenth means committing to policies that dismantle systemic racism and uplift Black voices, communities, and futures.
