8th Grade Charger Families, we continue to celebrate our rising 9th graders this Saturday, May 16th. Deltona Middle's 8th-grade students are invited to attend their formal dance from 6-9 p.m. Students are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as they may not be available on the day of the event, since we will be providing dinner and dessert. The cost is $30. Please see the flyer for more details. Dress code is strictly enforced.

Attention Charger Families, this Friday, May 15th, at 7pm, The Performing Arts Academy presents When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors (a comedy about The Wizard of Oz...gone wrong), and a Musical Showcase featuring various monologues, pantomimes, and a final musical/dance performance of “I'm Just Ken” from the Barbie movie.

Tickets are on sale now in Focus under 'Purchase and Pay'. Online ticket sales will end Friday at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 each (kids 6 and under are free). Tickets will be sold at the door (cash only). Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase ($1 each). Please come out and support PA Academy's final performance of the school year! Arrive early...doors open at 6:30PM. We hope to see you there!

This is a good opportunity to get in on what's happening on our campus and in our community! We'd love to have you join! Please stop by the Front Office between now and Friday to secure your vote and your voice at Deltona Middle! Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to our Charger Team! We are having so much fun honoring our dedicated faculty and staff members! Special thanks to Mrs. Carlee McKinney and the West Volusia Tourism team for helping us organize our week and secure some donations.

On Monday, we kicked the week off with a heart breakfast. "I-HOPe you all know how much you mean to the Charger Family!" Today, we enjoyed lunch with our special guest server, Deltona's very own Vice Mayor, Mrs. Maritza Avila-Vazquez.

Deltona Middle's Surge Dance Collective put on an amazing spring show this past Friday. We are so pleased to see how our dance program has grown under the tutelage of Ms. Thomas, at first year dance teacher. Students are enthusiastic about participating whether they are on stage dancing or back stage serving as show hands! We look forward to seeing what they have to present in the fall. Go, Chargers!
