Meet Your Newly Elected Nooksack Youth Council!
We are excited to officially introduce the Nooksack Youth Council for the 2026–2027 term!

Please help us congratulate our newly elected Youth Council:
Chair – Alayna Johnson
Vice Chair – Aolani Bumatay
Secretary – Ryan Hillaire
Treasurer – Troy Sulkanum
Nooksack Representative – Russell Roberts Jr.
Mount Baker Representative – Audriana Paez
Representative at Large – Cylis Mandeville
Representative at Large – Matthew Williams

Each of these young people has stepped forward to represent Nooksack youth and take on a leadership role within our community. Throughout their term, they’ll have opportunities to learn, travel, serve the community, plan events and projects, and most importantly, make sure the voices of Nooksack youth are heard.

We would also like to invite our entire Nooksack community to come out and support them next Tuesday, September 1st, as they are officially sworn in during the Nooksack Tribal Council meeting at 6:00 PM at the Mi’sq’eq’o Building.

Community members are encouraged to attend in person or tune in to witness this special moment and show their support for our youth as they begin their new term.

Come witness and celebrate the next generation of Nooksack leaders! Congratulations to the 2026–2027 Nooksack Youth Council!
