on the fourth Thursday of every month (except July and December) at the Luna County Courthouse, 700 S. Silver Avenue. Meetings are open to the public. The Council membership is comprised of health care agencies, substance abuse prevention programs, social services, educators, members of the general public, and others, all of whom are committed to improving the health and well being of Luna County residents.

Due to a delay in federal funding, SUN Bucks benefits are now expected to begin June 15, 2026.

Program Info & Eligibility
•For children and teens ages 8-17 with prediabetes or a high body mass index.
•8-week hybrid program (in-person & Zoom).
•45-minute sessions every Monday and Wednesday from May 13 to June 30, 2026.
•Grocery gift cards for participants.
