Good morning, two road closures to be aware of for tomorrow June 4th. Baker Rd will be closed from Sunville Rd to the township line and Horn Rd will be closed from Gibson Hill to Kane Run for road work. Both closures begin at 8am.

The Oakland Township Veterans Banner Team would like to announce a celebration and reveal ceremony scheduled for Sunday, May 24th at 2p.m. The location is the Mount Carmel Tabernacle parking lot located on the corner of State Rt 417 and 428. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the Oakland Township fire hall. This is the opportunity to celebrate the patriotic service of these Hometown Heroes and view the banners the families sponsored in their honor.
You are welcome to bring lawn chairs for the event.

Progress reports will include: Penelec engineering survey, banner proofs from Gates Flag and Banner Co; details for the veterans' banner reveal ceremony on Sunday, May 24th.
