Sensory Sundays are Back at North Cypress Fitness in Hammond

​ Starting May 31st, we are bringing back our Sensory Sunday sessions to provide a comfortable, inclusive environment for families with special needs.
​What to Expect
​We’ve tailored the atmosphere to ensure everyone can enjoy the water at their own pace:
​Low-Stimulus Environment: Music will be turned off to keep the setting calm and focused.
​Full Fun: The splash pad will be active and ready for play!
​Safety First: Certified lifeguards will be on duty, and life vests are available for anyone who needs them.
​The Details
​When: Every Sunday morning throughout the summer.
​Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
​Cost: Free for community families with a member with special needs.
​Join us for a morning of stress-free fun and community connection. We can’t wait to see you at the pool!

Our 4th grade Gators wrapped up their Greek mythology unit and the school year with an unforgettable Greek Day! 🇬🇷⚡🏛️ From competing in our Greek Olympics to enjoying an amazing Greek feast, it was a day full of fun, learning, and memories our students will never forget!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible 4th grade parents for donating food, drinks, and supplies, and to all of our parent volunteers who helped set up, serve, and chaperone throughout the day. Your support helped make this event so special for our students! 💚

We also want to give a special shoutout to Albasha Greek & Lebanese Restaurant and Cafe Phoenicia for generously donating delicious Greek food for our students to try. The kids absolutely loved experiencing new foods and flavors! 🥙✨ Cafe Phonecia Denham Springs Albasha Greek & Lebanese Restaurant

Our 5th grade Gators wrapped up their final year at Grays Creek Elementary with the BEST Water Day celebration! 💦🐊☀️ What a fun way to celebrate all of their hard work, growth, memories, and accomplishments this year.

A huge shoutout to our amazing 5th grade teachers for making this special day happen for their students. Your love, time, and dedication created memories these kids will never forget! 💚

We are so proud of this group and will miss seeing these Gators on campus next year, but we know they are headed off to do amazing things in middle school! Once a Gator, always a Gator! 🐊✨

What an amazing week at The Creek! We are so thankful for our incredible parents and community for the love, support, treats, encouragement, and generosity shown to our staff all week long. You truly know how to make our Gator family feel appreciated and special.

Rolling out the red carpet for the real stars of Gray’s Creek! ⭐🎬

This week, we celebrated our incredible teachers and staff with a Red Carpet Teacher Appreciation Week full of fun, laughter, surprises, and lots of well-deserved recognition. From the paparazzi snapping pictures all week long to the smiles, treats, and special moments shared together, it was our small way of saying THANK YOU for the huge difference you make every single day.

Our teachers and staff pour their hearts into our students, our school, and our Gator family. They encourage, inspire, comfort, teach, lead, and love our children like their own. The time, energy, patience, and dedication they give never go unnoticed.

Gray’s Creek is such a special place because of the people inside these walls. We are beyond blessed with a team that goes above and beyond for kids day after day.

Senior Gators and Parents, please park in the large lot by the gym. Enter school using the side door and meet in the cafeteria. Arrive a few minutes early allowing the walk to begin promptly at 1:30pm. Can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow at the Creek 🎓🐊
