We are so proud to celebrate these 12 school cafeterias for completing their health inspections with ZERO violations! 💯👏

Congratulations to Albany Elementary, Denham Springs Elementary, Eastside Elementary, French Settlement Elementary, Holden High, Live Oak Jr. High, Maurepas High, Springfield Elementary, Springfield High, South Fork Elementary, South Walker Elementary, and Southside Elementary! 💙💚

And we have even more to celebrate! ALL schools inspected during this first wave have PASSED their health inspections! 👏🎉

Having passed inspection is a reflection of the hard work our cafeteria teams put in every single day. From food safety and sanitation to keeping their kitchens clean, organized, and ready to serve, these ladies are committed to maintaining high standards for our students.

📚 September is Attendance Awareness Month! 💙

Every school day is an opportunity to learn, connect, grow, and succeed. When students are in school and ready to learn, they’re building the skills, relationships, and confidence that help create a brighter future.

We are kicking off a great school year! Students may wear their favorite team jersey/shirt for free on Friday. Next Thursday, students may pay $2 to help us support Mighty Moms in their fight against childhood hunger for students in our community!

Volleyball tryouts for 4th and 5th grade students are Monday and Tuesday until 4:30 p.m.
**Students must be picked up on time.** Attending one tryout is mandatory, both are suggested. If your child would like to tryout and has not turned in their permission form yet, please have forms turned into Mrs. Cook tomorrow morning. All parts of the permission slip form must be filled out correctly in order to stay for tryouts. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Cook. GO BUCS⚓️❤️💙

September is Childhood Hunger Awareness Month! Help us partner with Mighty Moms to collect items for students in need and fight childhood hunger in our community! If you have a student in need at Southside, please contact our school counselor.
